"In August 2022, I was honored to serve a small indigenous community on a mission trip 30 miles outside Chenalho, Chiapas, Mexico. Our team assisted in building a church for their community. I was humbled and blessed by the people of the community. They may have been financially poor, but they were rich in heart and continuously showed their love for God. They blessed me more than I could have ever blessed them."

"On a student mission trip in Denver, someone called me about an upcoming church build in 10 days. After talking to my wife, I agreed to go. I didn't even look up where Chiapas, Mexico, is, and I'm a history teacher! The trip was more than I ever dreamed God would do in my life. Deep in the mountains of Chiapas, we were engaged with indigenous people, building a larger church for them to worship Jesus. I have returned numerous times, always coming home with similar thoughts."

Hope Fellowship had the privilege of partnering with Ministry Builders for the first time in August 2022. The week involved an atmosphere of worship through serving, allowing individuals to use their gifts to expand and support the local church in Mexico. The leadership was encouraging and purposeful with each daily project and schedule. The experience helps to broaden each person’s confidence on how they can be used to further His Kingdom both in the field and at home.
