Interested in going on a mission trip?
Join us this fall in Veracruz, Mexico, as we finish building a church for a local community in need, evangelize in the area surrounding the church, and partner with the pastor to present the Gospel through “The Jesus Film.” From a practical perspective, you will spend the week painting, building benches, mixing concrete, and serving a community in need. From a personal perspective, you will meet new people, experience a new worldview, gain perspective, and be challenged to step out of your comfort zone. It will be an incredible week of ministry, and we hope you will join us! Here are the details:
When: September 21-26, 2026
Who: Open to any individual 18 and older. Students 16-17 can participate with a parent.

Where: Our team will be serving in the remote village of Tres Valles, Veracruz. You will fly in to Veracruz City, Veracruz and stay in our dorms in Tuxtapec, Oaxaca, about an hour from where we will be working. Our dorms feature individual bedrooms with two twin beds and a private shower, making it a comfortable stay for you after a long days work. Meals will be prepared on-site by our team. You will have an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Oaxaca and visit the city and beach in Veracruz City. We believe this will be a meaningful and memorable experience, and we hope you’ll prayerfully consider joining us.​​
​About the Church: In the growing community of Tres Valles, Veracruz, a faithful congregation is meeting in a small structure that began as a little more than a bamboo shelter. Over the years, church members have expanded the building as resources allowed, but the facility has reached its limits. Today, the space serves as a sanctuary, classroom, training center, and gathering place for children and families.

The church was planted through simple, consistent evangelism- going house to house, inviting neighbors, and sharing the Gospel throughout the community. The pastor and church leaders are deeply committed to discipleship, leadership development, and children's ministry, but the lack of adequate space restricts what they can do. A new building will provide room for worship services, Bible training, children's programs, community outreach and a place for the congregation to continue reaching the growing population around them.
When Ministry Builders visited the church, we saw a congregation that is already making the most of every square foot available. Their faithfulness, vision, and commitment to evangelism convinced us that an investment in this church would have a lasting Kingdom impact. Our goal is not simply to construct a building, but to equip a thriving local church with the tools it needs to continue making disciples and reaching its community for Christ.
Cost: $400.00 per person PLUS your airfare.

The $400 covers lodging, ground transportation, meals, and activities once you arrive in Veracruz, plus basic travel insurance.

Meals on travel days are the responsibility of the participant.

Individuals will book airfare on their own, using the flight schedule we have established, which will be provided upon registration. Flights must be booked as provided so the team can travel as a group and not create a need for additional airport transfers, etc. Flights run between $800-$1,100, depending on the time of booking.
Deadline: Registration will stay open until we have a full team of 12 people. Once we reach capacity, registration will close.
